Why is teacher access free?
Teachers reach a lot of families. Free educator access means more classrooms get reading-practice stories AND more parents discover Fablespun through their kid's teacher. It's good for kids and good for us.
How do you verify teachers?
Educators with school email addresses (.edu, .k12.<state>.us, etc.) are auto-verified at signup. Others are reviewed by hand — usually within one business day.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; your account reverts to the free Tryout tier after that.
What are chapter books, and what do they cost?
A chapter book is a longer, multi-chapter story starring your kids. Write chapter 1, then add each next chapter a tap at a time — 1 credit per chapter — or have us write the whole book at once. They're part of Storybook and Family Plus, which include starter credits to try them, and you can top up with a credit pack any time. Credits never expire.
How do credits work?
Your subscription covers your monthly stories. Credits are a separate balance for extras like chapter books, or for generating more once you've used your monthly stories. Buy them in the Top up section above — they stack on any plan and never expire.
Is my child's data shared?
No. Names and details you enter are used only to personalize that family's stories. We don't sell or share data. Stories are visible only to you — and, on Family Plus, to the other parent you've added to your plan.
